Our interview process is designed to find thoughtful people with diverse expertise. Here’s what to expect.
What we are looking for
We care about what you can do, not where you learned to do it. About half of our technical staff had no prior enterprise software experience; some hold Computer Science degrees, but plenty of brilliant colleagues are self-taught or come from non-traditional backgrounds. If you've built something independently, contributed to open source, shipped a side project, or actively maintain a technical blog, put that at the top of your resume.
Our developers work across the full stack - building custom solutions for global clients and shipping in-house products across web, mobile, AI, and data. If you have a strong engineering background, apply as a software engineer - you'll have real input into what we build and how we build it.
For non-technical roles, we're looking for people who bring clarity, judgment, and a genuine interest in great software. Our teams are small and high-impact - you'll help shape how we work, not just execute on a playbook.

All interviews are conducted via Google Meet and are designed to be a two-way, interactive experience.
For technical roles, we use live coding environments like Colab . While you are welcome to look up specific documentation, we expect a strong grasp of core concepts, basic syntax, and standard libraries so you can focus on problem-solving rather than troubleshooting. Also we expect you to screen share and walk us through your logic or demo a project you’ve built. We’ll dive into your experience and motivations.
For non-technical roles, our interviews are conversational but hands-on. We want to understand how you think through problems and what draws you to this work. You'll have time to ask us about ZOT too. We want this to be a two-way conversation.

What’s your remote work policy?
We work on a hybrid schedule, staff follow a roster with designated onsite and work-from-home days. We're flexible with arrangements and can accommodate adjustments if needed.
